Turkish troops withdraw from Iraq (AP)

A convoy of Turkish military trucks with elite troops return from northern Iraq in Cukurca in Hakkari province at the Turkey-Iraq border, Friday, Feb. 29, 2008. Turkey's military said Friday it has ended a ground offensive against Kurdish rebels in Iraq, but said that foreign influence didn't play a role in its decision.
